One of the few remaining rivers in the lower 48 states without dams, the 135 mile Buffalo River cuts its way through massive limestone bluffs traveling eastward through the Arkansas Ozarks and into the White River. Built and maintained by volunteers, the 37 mile Buffalo River Trail is an escape hatch to the relatively untouched beauty in the heart of the Ozark Mountains. For more information try
